Kim Barber has worked in the motor insurance market since 1970. He has held senior underwriting positions in both Commercial Fleet and Personal Lines motor business – the last 15 years within Lloyd’s. He was appointed Head of Motor Division and a director to the Board of Chaucer Syndicates Limited in April 2006, having previously held the position of Motor Fleet Director. He was previously Chairman of the Lloyd’s Market Association Motor Underwriting Committee and a member of the Motor Insurers’ Bureau Board.
