Carl Gustav Scavenius joined Chaucer's Accident and Health reinsurance department in October 2004. He is working as an Underwriter and is involved in underwriting, marketing and administration. James joined Chaucer in 2006 on the Graduate Scheme. During his time at Chaucer he completed a successful internship at the University of Washington Medical Centre, Seattle. James then took up a permanent role as an Underwriting Assistant for Chaucer's Institituional Healthcare Liability underwriting team in 2008, becoming an Assistant Underwriter in 2009.

He is further responsible for the Accident & Health actuarial support in Copenhagen. Lars holds a Master degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Copenhagen and has two years of work experience for the Danish pension scheme letpension.
