Michael Dawson began his career at Lloyd's with Non Marine Syndicate 584 in 1979 as an Assistant to the Underwriter. In 1986, he joined Cox Insurance and became Deputy Underwriter of the then new Non-marine Syndicate 1027. In 1991, Michael formed and became the Active Underwriter of specialist Nuclear Syndicate 1176. Michael is a Director of Pool Reinsurance (Nuclear) Limited and is Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of the British Insurance Atomic Energy Committee. He served on the Council of Lloyd’s from 1998 to 2001 and on the Lloyd's Market Board from 1998 to 2002.

Lynn Macdonald BSocSc, LLB, ACII started her career in the Insurance market after joining Euler Trade Indemnity in 1996 as a Credit broker. In 2000, Lynn then joined Cox Insurance Plc as an Assistant underwriter on the credit and political risk team, focusing on Credit Insurance. Lynn then accepted the position of Assistant Underwriter on Nuclear Syndicate 1176 in 2002 and thereafter transferred to Chaucer in 2003 with the transfer of the Syndicate 1176.
