Werner Joubert

Chaucer appointed Werner as Chief Risk Officer in April 2024, having previously served as Chaucer's Head of Capital Modelling.

Werner is responsible for the performance of Chaucer’s enterprise-wide risk management framework and all its constituent parts. He is responsible for the overall performance, direction and management of enterprise risk management, risk oversight and reporting, exposure management as well as responsibility for legal, compliance and corporate governance functions.

Werner joined Chaucer in 2016 as a senior capital modelling actuary working on capital model development and usage roles with the business. Werner holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Actuarial Science and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA).
